Sarah grew up right down the road in North Woodstock, NH. She earned her bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire and studied her main instrument, percussion. While at UNH, she performed in many ensembles including the Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Orchestra, and Marching Band. After graduating, Sarah was the drumline instructor for the Manchester West Blue Knight Marching Band and the Band Director for the Newport school district for six years. She has been teaching Band at Profile and Lafayette Elementary since 2017. Sarah enjoys performing outside of school, has been an active member of several NH community ensembles throughout the years, and is making a marimba at home with her husband. When she's not doing music- related things, she can be found outside playing superheroes with her two boys.
