Dawn Glidden believes that education is a life-long practice, not the final destination.   She was a UPS driver for 13 years while raising her two daughters, but ultimately, her passion was always teaching.  She started her learning at Norwich University as a “rook” and studied communications,  but then transferred to Plymouth State University to study English education.  As her children got older and more independent, she  finally graduated from Lyndon State College with a B.S Elementary Education K-8.

She has been teaching at Profile School  for 17 years, and truly believes as Malala Yousafzai does:  “One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher, can change the world.” When she’s not reading, she is biking, hiking, or Crossfitting.
