Angela Broscoe grew up in Lawrence MA and graduated from Lowell University (UMass Lowell) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. After her retirement as Activity Director from a large nursing home, she and her husband traveled extensively through Asia, South American, and Europe. She has traveled to 39 countries on six continents and has been to all of the US states, all of the Canadian provinces plus two of its three territories.
Prior to being hired as a paraprofessional at Profile in the spring of 2018, she was a sub in Littleton, Bethlehem, and the Blue School in Landaff. Her favorite story from her subbing days occurred in a 4th grade class at BES. Mentioning to a student that she learned something new every day” He looked up at her with wonder and surprise on his face and responded, “Didn’t you go to school?” She and her husband moved to the North Country because of their love of hiking and winter sports. They have done all New Hampshire’s 48-4000 footers–she twice, several 14ners in Colorado, as well as trekking in Nepal near Mount Everest and hiking the Inca Trail in Peru. She enjoys Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, sketching, needlework, floral painting on furniture, as well as baking and creative cooking. Both are active in local conservation activities and help build trails on conserved land. Broscoe practices remote learning ever since her piano teacher decided to leave Bethlehem to travel. |
